Coronavirus can live on the mobile screen for up to 28 days

Coronavirus can live up to 28 days on the mobile screen, glass, money, buses, or cabs surface.

A recent study by the Australian Laboratory revealed such information.

The scientists of the Australian Center for Disease Preparedness say the COVID-19 virus is deadly powerful.

The virus can survive for up to 28 days at room temperature (20 degrees Celsius) on smooth surfaces such as glass or mobile screens or plastic or paper money.

The study, published in the journal Virology, found that in some cases the virus did not survive more than a day below 40 degrees Celsius.

Outbreaks appear to increase during the winter, the study said. However, the entire study was done in the dark so that ultraviolet rays have no effect.

Direct sunlight is rapidly inactivating the virus, they said. Scientists claim that the virus survives at relatively low temperatures.

The spread of epidemics has also come up in their research.

Debbie Eagles, deputy director of the research institute, said: So keep washing your hands and sanitizing your surface.

Coronavirus can live on the mobile screen for 28 days

Direct contact with a person infected with the corona can spread the infection to another person through coughing, talking, singing, and breathing.

If the virus particles get stuck on the surface, it can survive on the surface. It has also been mentioned that format has a role in infecting the virus.

Researchers at the University of Kansas conducted an experiment on multiple surfaces (glass, wood, cloth, mobile screen).

That said, the virus can survive five to seven times longer in relatively cold, less humid weather.

On non-porous surfaces or smooth bottoms (e.g. glass, touch screen mobile screen) the virus may survive longer. The virus lives relatively short on clothes (porous surfaces).

It has been observed how long the coronavirus can survive by placing artificial mucus on various surfaces. Researchers in Australia are concerned about the results of that study.

Although the role of surface-to-air transmission has been studied, scientists are still working on how many viruses are needed to spread the infection.

More research is needed on how long the virus survives on the surface, Eagles said.

What to do to avoid this danger?

Mobile phones, bank ATMs, Glasses are used in our daily life. These need to be sanitized regularly.

The virus survives longer than the common flu (plastic or metal) in money or currency.

Money is circulating hand in hand, circulating in different places, it is also a big cause of infection it is also mentioned in the research paper.
