A Beginner’s Guide to Double Penetration

A Beginner’s Guide to Double Penetration: Although it may sound like a cliché and a band name, “Two is more than one” can be true in terms.

Yes, double penetration (DP) is what we are referring to today.

What exactly is double penetration?

You may have believed that DP was a sex act in which a vagina owner is simultaneously pierced in both their bum and vagina by one penis owner.

This is just 1 of many ways that you can explore DP.

Double penetration refers to any act which involves filling an or more orifices with penises or dildos or ball gags, buttplugs (or any other sex toys), fingers and fists.” Luna Matatas is a sexuality educator and creator of Peg The Patriarchy.

“Anyone can explore double penetration,” Matatas says. It can be done with one person dual-penetrating another, or a combination between three people or an individual who double penetrates themselves.

Here’s an incomplete (!) list. All are DP-qualified in these scenarios

  • A vaginal owner is dildo and penissimally penetrated by a dildo
  • A vagina owner is infected by a dildo vulginally and a penis ally
  • A vagina owner wearing abutt plug during Pin-V
  • A vagina owner with a ball gag, while being fisted
  • A vagina owner using an inner vibrator while wearing a buttplug
  • A penis owner using anal beads while performing oral surgery
  • A penis owner wears a ball gag, while is being anally fisted
  • Penis owners are anally penetrated simultaneously by two penises or dildos.
  • Two thrusting toys are used by a penis owner to hold their anus in place.

It’s something people do

DP has been a topic of conversation and entertainment for many people until now. You might wonder if it is something that people actually do.

Yes.

Moreover, once you realize how broad the definition of DP is, you might find that you have already explored it. (Fun!)

What’s all the fuss?

It can even be capital-h Hot! All caps are PLEASURABLE!

It can feel great for the receiver

If you think about it, it makes sense.

Feeling vaginally pierced can be a pleasant experience thanks to internal hot points like the H-spot and A–spot.

Anally penetrated can feel good due to the ringing nerves at the entry of the anus, and similar feelings of fullness.

It can also be used to stimulate the sensitive P spot in people with prostates. (Anal or prostatic orgasm anyone?

Being oral penetrated is a hot thing because it can make your partner(s), feel good. You can also enjoy delicious power dynamics!

It doesn’t matter if one or both of these orifices are receiving double the love, it can still be a joy gold mine.

The giver is also included!

Mentally, double penetrating can result in a dominant/submissive dynamic that makes the giver feel powerful and satisfying.

Physically, DP can cause more pressure and tightness on your bits and itches than regular (read: single penetration).

Taboos are hot

Some people find the mere thought of doing something “naughty”, “off the beaten track”, or “forbidden” to be very appealing.

Daniel T., 39 years old, regularly penetrates his partner while wearing a ball gail. He says that DP feels amazing for them both, but that double penetration is a taboo for him.

It can fulfill your fantasy

DP can be described as the dream for some people.

DP for others is a way to experience fantasies such as group sex and being (consensually!). compelled to perform certain acts and many more.

How does it feel?

There is no universal DP experience.

It doesn’t matter if it’s solo, partnered or multi-partner. What hole(s), and with what, will all have an impact on how it feels.

Beau, for example, describes the sensation of being simultaneously vaginally pierced by two penises in Medium . It is thrilling and filling! ).

Beau wrote that there was an initial feeling of being stretched. But it quickly changed into the sensation of being full. It was almost like a thick dick was within me. There’s a feeling of deceitful abundance that is magnified when you think about what you’re doing.

Cooper T. (24 years old), a trans man who masturbates regularly with a buttplug and double-ended dildo DP for DP says, “It makes it feel full but in a gendereuphoric manner.”

How to do DP with a partner

These steps are not your XXX-rated history video, but they will guide you to DP.

Discuss it in detail

And we mean explicit detail.

There are many variations of DP so agreeing to try one doesn’t provide much information.

Make sure you address:

  • Who will be double-infiltrated?
  • Which hole(s) are you looking for? What? Which order?
  • Which positions are you most interested in?
  • Which STI prevention and protection methods will be used, if any?

Purchase only what you really need

What tools and toys do you need in order to realize your DP dreams?

Matatas states that it allows penises to put on a dildo, penetrate their partner with their penis and have their penis in the one hole and the dildo another simultaneously.

Two (2) Vulva owners may choose to wear two (2!) The harness can be worn by dildos as well.

Remember: It should be able to pass through your bum.

Lube, lube and lube again.

Even if the hole(s), is being penetrated , it can self-lubricating (think vaginal), but lube cannot be ignored.

Matatas also states that you should lubricate your body after moving.

You might consider establishing a safe name

Before getting down, Stubbs recommends picking a safe word.

She says that the stoplight system works very well. You can say “yellow” when you need to slow down, or pause.

Establish a nonverbal safety sign if the mouth is being pierced. Three taps on the thigh could indicate a stop, for example.

Begin one ‘penetration’ at the time

Now, let’s get to the actual DP. Woohoo!

Matatas states, “Go slow get you mind and body aroused by avoiding the things that you like during sex.” Only then should you begin to penetrate.

She says, “Start with one finger and a toy. Then add another object.” When adding the second object, be mindful and slow. If you feel any burning sensations, or sharp pains, stop.

Communicate

Three times! As much as you feel you should.

Matatas suggests slowing down and checking in all the time. You might say:

  • “Are You Ready for Another [Toy/penis/dildo]?”
  • “Does this [demonstrate] angle or this [demonstrate] make you feel better?”
  • “How does this feel for you?”

How to do it with multiple partners

Two partners can explore DP together, but it takes much the same preparation, patience, and process.

It is important to discuss it in detail ahead of time, invest in lube, other sex aids, and toys, and to communicate throughout.

There are however, a few more steps.

Talk more before you go

Stubbs suggests spending more time discussing STI Status and identifying barriers in advance.

Why? Why?

Reminder: Take it slow

Matatas states that sometimes, when figuring out which positions work best, people forget to slow down and ease into the task.

Remember that the person receiving the DP should set the pace for all penetrative actions.

Matatas adds that it is fun to begin with two people using their fingers to puncture one another if you are planning to use penises, dildos or other larger toys. This will give you a better idea of how the person reacts in pleasure as well as discomfort.

Take a look at multiple positions

Matatas states that it can be difficult to determine the position of multiple parties, particularly when they are complex.

Here are some positions you might consider:

  • doggy style
  • Rider on the top
  • 69ing

Don’t get discouraged

Stubbs states that double penetration might not occur the first time, or even fifth time. It’s perfectly okay to have double penetration not happen the first time, or even fifth time. You’ll discover more about yourself and your body every time you explore.

Also, don’t be afraid to take in the lessons and not curse them.

How to do it yourself

Matatas states that there are many ways to explore DP by yourself. There are three options.

She explains that you can put a ball gag in the mouth, a flared-base anal bead, or a dildo in the anus. You can also try a U-shaped double-ended dildo to allow dual anal and vaginal penetration.

After, practice aftercare

After all the work is done, make sure you check in with each other on their emotional and physical needs.

Matatas states that double penetration can be very intense emotionally. Talk to your partner about how you feel, what was hot and what you could do without.

Matatas states that if you feel any sharp or lingering pains for more than a few days, it is worth calling your healthcare provider.

The bottom line

No matter if you are solo, partnered or multipartner, DP play can bring! Two times the enjoyment.

It could work for you. To find out, you’ll need to test it.
