Migraine is a genetic disease. If there is someone in the family, there has a chance to be another member to face this problem. This pain occurs when the trigeminal nerve of the brain is stimulated.
Physicians like to say that this pain occurs when the balance of a chemical called serotonin is disturbed. Migraine problems are more common in women than in men. Its cause is hormonal differentiation.

The prevalence of migraines is higher in women due to the hormone estrogen. So, many girls start migraine problems at the same time as the first menstrual period at puberty.
