How to Detox Your Body – Must Know Before You Try!

Why would you want to go on a detox program and detoxify your body? The most obvious reason is to cleanse the body of toxins. Excess toxicity in the body can be the root cause of many illnesses that we all take for granted. Are a normal part of the aging body, or we try to treat symptoms. By wondering why we are still sick. Toxicity can be the cause of a wide range of diseases such as osteoarthritis, diabetes, and even cancer. It is recommended to detoxify your body at least once a year and avoid the accumulation of toxins. To adapt your dietary and lifestyle habits to include healthy foods and embark on a regular exercise program.

After a check-up with your doctor, especially. If you are taking some kind of medicine or nutritionist, you should start your detox program with a 24-hour fast. Choose this day carefully, it is better to do it on a day when you can rest. And in a calmer mood. Fasting may not be easy. If you still need to meet your family’s needs, so again, pick a day that makes it easier for you.

During the entire period of the diet. Start and end the day with a drink of hot water and freshly squeezed lemon juice raw maraby herbs. Starting the day with lemon juice and hot water will cleanse the liver, kidneys, and digestive tract. The rest of the day you need to drink a lot of water. This will prevent dehydration and help eliminate toxins.

After the first day of fasting, you can introduce raw vegetables and fruits.

Raw foods like these do an excellent job of effectively cleansing the body. Are easier to digest, strengthen the immune system, and boost metabolism. The high fiber content in fruits and vegetables is a wonderful aid in removing toxins from the body and improving the constitution to help the body function better.

As toxins are removed from your body, you will start to feel an overall improvement in your health, aches, pains, headaches, rash, etc. will begin to subside and your body will begin to recover towards a optimal health.

When choosing fruits and vegetables, go for organic when possible, organic vegetables and fruits will not have been exposed to toxic chemicals. If you are a gardener, you can grow your own vegetables by making sure they are definitely free of pest control chemicals. Freshly harvested vegetables will have a higher nutritional value than vegetables that were harvested several days earlier. Adding fresh herbs will increase the healthy properties of the vegetables, so use them generously. Vary your vegetables and eat lots of salads and fruits.

Do not cook the vegetables, as much of the necessary nutrients are literally flushed down the drain. If you want to cook them, gently steam them or sauté them for a few minutes until tender when you pierce them with a fork.

Spring Cleaning – Detox Your Body

The first signs of spring are upon us here in Colorado. Crocuses are popping up in my front yard, green shoots are popping up in my bushes and trees, and daylight saving time is only twelve days away – hello 7:00 o’clock sunsets! Oh, and I’m looking through the cupboards in my house, preparing for the total spring cleaning. With my mind already on cleanliness, I read a statistic in an article by Dr. Mark Haymand that really blew me away: he writes: “A recent study of umbilical cord blood found 287 toxic chemicals, 217 of which are toxic to the brain. and nervous system. And that’s what babies are exposed to even before they breathe for the first time. These toxins include mercury, lead, PCBs, BPA, phthalates, plasticizers, flame retardants and more. ” This reminded me that spring is a great time to clean, not only our houses, but the houses that are our bodies, allowing us to lead a healthier and longer life and transmit that purity to our children.

Some great ways to cleanse your body of toxins this year:

On average, those of us who eat conventional fruits and vegetables consume more than a gallon of neurotoxins per year due to the use of pesticides. Some fruits and vegetables are worse than others: a conventionally grown strawberry exceeds the FDA pesticide limit for an adult year-round, while cantaloupe and watermelon are less toxic alternative.

Know your fish – Mercury poisoning is a serious problem. Almost fifteen percent of adult American women have toxic levels of mercury in their bodies. We all know that fish is a healthy alternative to red meat, but staying away from highly toxic large fish like swordfish and albacore and sticking with wild salmon or sardines can make a difference. A good rule of thumb, the bigger the fish, the more mercury, as mercury builds up in fatty tissue and all those big fish have eaten smaller fish that have eaten small fish … etc.

Good herbs for the liver:

The liver is the organ that processes toxins in your body. The problem with this is that it can let these toxic chemicals, along with excess sugars and hormones, enter the bloodstream and cause and / or contribute to PMS, rashes, fatigue, obesity, and cancer. Treating your liver well allows it to do its job. Some excellent herbs to help detoxify the liver are: milk thistle, burdock, nettle, and dandelion. Try them as tinctures, teas, or capsules. Nettles are also great for skin and hair and contain a ton of iron, while roasted dandelion root is a great substitute for coffee.

Add coriander to your diet:

I know, I know, coriander is one of those love / hate herbs, but for those of you who love it, coriander is one of the only food sources that effectively removes heavy metals Of the body in a short time.

You Are What You Eat: One of the best ways to detoxify your body is to eat right. Good detoxifying foods include lemons, green tea, watercress, dandelion leaves, coriander, artichokes, garlic, citrus peels, pomegranate, and even cocoa;

And cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, kale, collard greens, broccoli rabe, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, Chinese cabbage, Chinese broccoli) and to avoid toxic foods such as high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, tobacco, and alcohol. Cutting back even a little bit can make a big difference in your body’s ability to handle toxins.
