The regular need of hydrogen intake is determined by all the sources we take- food, water, and other beverages. But however; not all are beneficial; some of them have drawbacks and are better to be avoided instead of taking them as an alternative of water.

Juices, sodas, and smoothies are hydrating but due to high level of sugar and calories it is better to avoid them else high intake of such beverages can cause other problems in body. On the other hand, coffee and tea too provide water but at the same time they also contain caffeine, that in turn you to lose more water when you pee. Like tea and coffee, alcohol also contains a good amount of water but they cause more water to release out of body when we pee.

Water is abundant in sports drinks, they also contain carbohydrates and electrolytes, which can aid in water absorption and energy maintenance. They aid in the replacement of salt lost through sweat during strenuous activities. However, keep in mind that many of them also contain a lot of extra calories, sugar, and salt.
